Much has been happening around here lately.
Thursday, I received some yarn I swapped with Not Hip!
approx 12 balls of Knit Picks Andean Silk. Plus she sent me her color card and a beautiful postcard.
I have also been working on my second paint box sock, which I hope to show you by the end of the weekend.
Yesterday, I had a wish come true. You remember my roaches? Well, they are now parents! I have been waiting for them to reproduce so I can use them in my ecology classes. Unfortunately, I had left my camera at home, so I don’t have any pictures. (I know, you are so upset that there are no pictures, right?)
Today, I get to go to my first LYS! Yay! So I should have more to tell you about later. Come back and visit again!
Andean silk is a great yarn. You had a great swap! Have fun at the LYS.

The silk looks stunning (I’m knitting with navy silk). What do you plan to make?

I’ve never heard of someone so excited about roaches reproducing 😉
I’m glad you like the yarn. I should have probably written this on there…but the postcard images are tow of my paintings.
I received your package yesterday. I already have put the stitch markers to use on a new project. Thank you, they’re beautiful.
