No, I am still teaching, it is still very close to the start of school, but things are starting to get a bit calmer. I have been knitting very little over the past month due to lessons to be planned, papers to be graded, worksheets to design, and labs to be set. And I was sick last weekend, but I am feeling better now. So I have done almost as much this week as I have done in the month before that. Time for a WIP parade!
I am still working on my mom’s sock (second of the pair). I am at the heel, working on the short-row turn. It shouldn’t be long now, as long as I work on it. I haven’t really done anything on this since the first week of school.
I am making a pair of ankle socks for me, I am at the heel flap for the first sock, which isn’t long so I can’t say it took me too much time to get there.
I haven’t done anything on my fingerless glove in the past month and a half, but I don’t think I have shown how far I am. Looking good!
This is what I have been working on most recently. I got the needles for my husband’s socks, and I am done the toes of both. Can I say he has big feet? I was concerned that I was making them too big until I held them up against some socks of his. They really are the right size. Trust me. (you can’t tell from the picture, but I can fit half of my fist in one toe.)
I am also now in possession of more patterns.
These books I ordered in July from KnitPicks from their book sale. I am reading the EZ book, I still love her conversational style. I like the socks on the right side of the cover the best out of the More Sensational Knitted Socks.

I got Last Minute Gifts to make a chevron scarf. I am trying my best to resist. I keep being tempted but the only thing stopping me is that I still have to wind the yarn.
Also, I finally got my Sockapalooza socks!
Thank you, Judy! I think they are broad-ripple pattern, and they fit great! They are actually much more bright/intense in person. She also included a cute set of stitch markers, but I couldn’t get a good picture.
I have a softball game tomorrow night, so I don’t know if I can post three days in a row, but we will see!
