I received my Secret Pal package on Monday, and it is AWESOME! (I have a great secret pal)
Lots of cool stuff! The cookies are wonderful, a kind of lemon-filled wafer cookie, very tasty! There was reading material, a page-a-day calendar from Stitch ‘n Bitch, (I flipped few a couple of pages, it is not all patterns, but gives you lots of info about yarns, charities, fibers, and of course a few patterns, including a sock of the month! Def recommend this over the knitting pattern/page-a-day calendar I got last year) and the new Secret Language of Knitters book. This is the one that was on the last L&V podcast, that defines knitterly terms in a humorous way. I did try it out on my husband, he humored me, but I don’t think he really got it. I also got pear body cream, which is yummy to smell, but don’t taste it! The circs are Plymouth and the yarn is Plymouth Boku, a wool/silk blend. Very pretty colors, I have to decide what to do with it!
