So I went shopping today to get a few things for crafting. I paid for my purchases, left the store, got in my car, went straight home, and unpacked my stuff.
And found that there was a rip in my plastic-from-the store bag and that I had lost three or four things out of the bag somewhere between the twenty feet where I took the bag out of the cart and my car.
After ranting at myself about how I should have been more careful, I realized it was my own karmic fault for not using the canvas bags I carry in my car. They wouldn’t have torn so easily, and I wouldn’t have thrown out another plastic bag. Plus, I wouldn’t have lost anything.
Who Needs Gauge?!

I’ll bet the store would replace the lost items if you asked. I also carry bags in my car, and usually remember them right about the time I check out.
