I have heard this, as so many of you probably have, at sometime since the day you started knitting or sewing your own clothing.
I came across this post during my blog-reading, and it echoes some of the feelings about why I want to create my own clothing.
These are two dresses I want to create sometime soon. They would be great for spring, no?
Who Needs Gauge?! 
Well, you now that your clothes will fit and are the correct length when you make them yourself. And you have no one to blame if they fall apart on the first washing. And you will have something that is one of a kind as well.
