Good Intentions Sewn Poorly

I made a bag that I thought would work well with these handles.

It didn’t turn out so good.

I know, you say it probably is fine, but see for yourself.

I’m not sure how to fix it. I have some ideas though. Maybe hand-sew the handles in so that the stitches don’t show through the front of the bag?

Or maybe make another bag for them out of stiffer material. Then I would have to put other handles on this bag…

Any suggestions??

  1. I don’t see the problem with the handles, I don’t think it’s bad to see that line of stitches. But you could also make it a design feature by getting some embroidery thread (maybe black, the orange or the darker green) and stitching there.
